Kandungaw Peak Trek
Embark on an exclusive trek to Kandungaw Peak for unparalleled vistas overlooking Moalboal, Pescador, and Zaragosa Island. The summit promises a refreshing mountain breeze and a breathtaking panorama of the countryside.
Our adventure begins with a rendezvous at 7:00 AM followed by a brief orientation. We’ll then embark on a scooter self-drive to our drop-off point in Badian, adding a unique and delightful dimension to the journey, spanning approximately 40 minutes. This excursion promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of nature.
The initial leg of the trail treats you to sweeping, open vistas before transitioning into a serene, shaded forest teeming with captivating flora, intriguing rock formations, and diverse wildlife. As we progress, the trail unveils stunning panoramic views and reaches its apex, culminating in an elevation gain of 2000 feet (600 meters) over a 6.8-mile (11km) round trip. Expect a moderate to high level of physical exertion throughout the trek, spanning approximately 8 hours, including breaks for rest, photo opportunities, and cave exploration.
